Painted following prolonged immersion in the waters of Samoa, Samoan Tide explores dissolution as connection rather than loss. Jellyfish forms drift through a dense field of roots, currents, and synaptic lines — collapsing ocean, forest, and nervous system into a single interconnected environment.
Inspired by experiences of altered perception beneath the surface, the work proposes entanglement as wholeness — where body, ecology, and consciousness merge into one continuous field of energy.
